Sanderson Library & On Third Thought: Accessibility Review

Sanderson is at Bathurst Street and Dundas Street. It is not within walking distance of the subway, but if you get off the subway at St. Patrick Station and take a street car, you will get there within ten minutes. It is a fifteen-minute walk from the AGO.

Sanderson Library is near Chinatown, so there is a collection of Chinese books.

Book shelves with a Chinese sign on top

It has a small teen section and a medium-sized kids section.

Big crossword with cute pictures on top
It would take me forever to do this crossword.

brown door with a "1" on it
Why doesn't this door have an automatic button

white book with picture of food and word "wine time" on it
This book made me laugh

I tried the page-turner, but it didn’t really work. You can see that you need to hold on to it to turn the page. Here is the video.

I got Influence by Sara Shepard and Lilia Buckingham.

After I went to Sanderson Library, I went to On Third Thought which is at Bathurst Street and Queen Street. It is a gelato and wine bar that is a ten-minute walk from the library. On the way to On Third Thought, there was a cool skate park, a Buddhist temple, and

some interesting graffiti.

When I got to On Third Thought, I couldn’t get into the store. There was one step to get into the store and two steps inside the store. I got Strawberry daiquiri and mango coconut. They were both very good.

Overall, Sanderson Library was pretty accessible and On Third Thought was the least accessible store I have been to so far.
