Brentwood Library & Cafe de Flore

Brentwood Library is a three-minute walk from Royal York Station on Line 2.

On the first floor, there is a big kids section.

There is also a nice area to sit.

The accessible bathroom is also on the first floor.

A big collection of French teen books is on the second floor.

The Teen Zone is on the second floor. But, it does not have an automatic door to get in.

I did not think that the Handmaid's Tale was a classic.

There was nothing special about Brentwood Library, but it was very nice. I got Girls With Sharp Sticks by Suzanne Young.

After I left, I tried to find an ice cream store. I went to Brentwood Library the day after the big flood. Most of the power in that area was out. First, I went to Demetres, but it was closed. Then, I went to Cafe de Flore which was a six-minute walk from Brentwood Library, and a three-minute from Royal York Station. The Cafe opened in May, and there was a big step to get in. This cafe is based on a famous cafe in Paris. I got pistachio almond ice cream. It was very cheap and very good.

Overall, Brentwood Library is pretty accessible, and Cafe de Flore is less accessible.
